It’s Been A Great Month

It’s January 31st, the last day of the first month of this blog. It’s been a wild ride and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it.

In just the first month there’s been massive growth! I now have an average of 17 readers a day, and spammers have attempted to post spam over a thousand times! The critics are loving this blog as well.

“I feel that Mr Nethead’s WebChunks is one of the best blogs on the Internet. He’s witty, charming, fun and informative. His cutting-edge range of topics is humorous and educational at the same time. I bet he is constantly shooing the ladies away.” – Mr Nethead of Mr Nethead’s WebChunks

In the first month we’ve covered such exciting topics as rare citrus fruits, throat drops that taste like candy, flying cars, two different types of cereal, Arby’s, the amazing Gorillapod, and the departure of our beloved Conan O’Brien from NBC.

So let’s look forward to a February full of web chunky goodness. Thanks for reading.

Your pal,

Mr Nethead

“I’m so Hungry I Could Eat At Arby’s!”

arbys

So there I was sitting in my office and pondering lunch. My office is conveniently located near McDonalds, Culver’s, KFC, Wendy’s and Arby’s. Sometimes it’s it’s hard to choose when confronted with so many quick, easy and healthy options.

Today I chose Arby’s. It had been a while since I’d eaten there, and aside from the fact that their ketchup cups are way too small, it was an overall pleasant experience. I’m not that into fries, but I’ve always loved Arby’s curly fries. Their roast beef sandwiches are pretty good too after being doused with ketchup.

My family has always liked Arby’s. Our little town never had one though, so oftentimes if we were on the road, we’d find an Arby’s and eat there. Everyone would get excited about it, and we’d say stuff like, “I can’t wait to eat at Arby’s!” (No, I’m not joking. We really did that.) I even got into my car a couple times and drove 45 minutes one-way just to get some Arby’s.

A couple years ago, they finally built an Arby’s here. My family was excited. Oh boy were we excited. For the first few months we ate there all the time. But then, the unthinkable happened. I got tired of Arby’s.

Today was the first time I’d eaten there in at least six months. It’s funny how things work. Now that I can have Arby’s anytime I want, I hardly ever want it. I just hope the place stays in business. I know that if they don’t stick around, as soon as they’re gone I’ll be saying, “I’m thinking Arby’s.”
